This is to serve as a photographic journal of the aforementioned. I present my images with no other place to call home, a portfolio of my wanderings, a diary to document and quantify a hint of my history. If not to share, than at least to remember. Life is hectic, time is short, memories are shorter. I have no clue where I’m going if I can’t remember where I’ve been. If a picture is worth a 1000 words, then this would be my novel, and I'll let the images do most the talking. Enjoy! -GSPs. You can see more work at garretsuhrie.com
I've always been impressed by the colossal structures we Angelos have built to weave our way around this maze of freeways. I imagine eons from now: long since has California sunk into the sea, history becomes legend, legend becomes myth, until one fateful day, our Atlantis will be discovered, and entrance and amaze some far off civilization. Cairo has Pyramids, LA has overpasses, if only we had longevity. Anyway, where the 5 meets the 405, the 10 to the 110 at the 101, this is LA in a nutshell.
